Apm 2.5 with power module usage on nitro power plane

If I want to use a 3s 2200mah lipo to power everything --apm, rx, and servos (nitro motor so no bec/esc), are there any issues with using the power module and leaving the jp1 jumper connected? there are 4 standard-size servos that need to share the power. or do I leave jp1 disconnected and use a separate battery for the servos, just connecting the battery like it was a servo on the output side?

  • Thanks, all. I left jp1 out and used a 2000 mah nimh on the output side and the lipo/power module. it worked fine.
  • Is there another current monitor that can handle it so that one could still see battery voltage and amp. If so how/where would it be connected?

  • Personally I would use a BEC for the servos and leave Jp1 off.
