Do you have telemetry capability? If so, then Mission Planner can help you identify what pre-arm check is failing.
What flight mode are you in? Try using Stabilize or Alt Hold to start out.
I have telemetry and was monitoring when I tried to arm. But Mission Planner would not indicate what the problem was - I was getting really frustrated as I knew I had GPS lock and everything else seemed fine. Then I discovered that when I moved the throttle stick to the left instead of right, it would arm.I can now arm/disarm at will but by moving the throttle stick opposite of what I've seen in YouTube videos. I'm trying to figure out what's up with that. So, you might try moving the throttle to the left and see what happens.
Unfortunately I dont have telemetry but an RC transmitter.
Also I did not have 3DR power and GPS. I got the 3DR power to see if it can help.
I worked with KK board before which I could power by motors instead of a separate power source.

I chose to use the APM power module - it was cheap and easy to splice into my power distribution harness.
If I were you, I'd seriously consider spending the $50 or so to get the telemetry radios, assuming of course, you have a laptop that you can use with Mission Planner - it helps a lot in troubleshooting!

Sure, I will do it.
