Hello everybody, newbie here,

I am facing problem I couldn't solve during 18 hours spent over arducopter, so really frustrating. I soldered everything together, doublechecked, measured with multimeter, resoldered all pins just to make sure again ... successfully uploaded firmware.

BUT When clicking APM Setup button and Radio Input tab, "Missing RC rev Param" message appears, when I try to Calibrate Radio, no bar moves / nothing happens / no reaction. Receiver works fine, tested with servo. Strange thing is when I run TERMINAL, I can "manually" setup and read positions of transmiter sticks, so it looks like communication works.

I am using the latest APM Planner, running W7 64bit (I also tried XP with the same result). I also flashed GPS to the latest version hoping this will solve my problem. Slider switch is always in the position ordered by the APM Planner.

My radio is Spektrum DX7 and receiver AR7000 (I have two receivers, tried both with same results).

Any help, idea how to make APM Planner properly work is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Shame shame shame on me :-(

For whatever reason (well for sure this happened because I was so eager to see my Arducopter in the air) I forgot to solder 2 pins (PG0 and PG1) to ArduPilot Mega board ...

Anyways, many thanks to everybody trying to help me and please forgive me :-D

  • Have you tried re-loading code with Arduino 22?  Try this if not and clear all eeprom memory.
