Arducopter wiki/documentation

I discovered multi-rotors about 2 months ago and the whole world behind the ArduPilotMega about a month ago.

I've built my own Flamewheel F450 based multirotor that flys alright based on what i've learned here and I'm happy with it.

Then again, I start to delve into how to really tune this machine regarding PID settings and realize all the wiki documentation must have been written for a much older generation of software because both the Mission Planner screens and how they word things are completely different from what is publicly available at: https://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/ArduCopter

I'm running Mission Planner 1.2.62 mav 1.0 and just for starters, the GUI doesn't even look the same. Lots of the menus and options within are all named slightly different and its becoming increasingly difficult to follow their direction.

Obviously this is a community based effort so i'm just curious as to what is the community's take on how they will update the documentation to go along with their amazing software?

I have an alright flying craft but tuning the "Stabilize" mode in the current Mission Planner with the current documentation is almost a guessing game.

Love this project! Thanks!

Chris, you are looking old wiki pages. Check out new wiki pages at ardupilot.com old pages that we used to work are still there for archive reasons. . Also Mission Planner just changed it's GUI so no one has not got time yet to update graphics.
