Arduplane 2.27 from git master branch

Hi all,

I've faced a couple of issues with Arduplane 2.27, hope to find some answers here.

Uploading Arduplane 2.27 from Mission Planner works perfectly for me.

But, uploading Arduplane 2.27 from Arduino IDE does not work (APM does not initialize after the code is loaded). Reason with my uploading from Arduino IDE is that I might need to add in a few lines of code myself in the future.

The Arduplane 2.27 code was taken from the git master branch, and I did not alter a single line of code at all.

Anyone with any insights on this?

Thanks

  • Did you use the 0.22 arduino "relax patch" version ? Without it I had warning messages during compilation, and then it had weird behaviour (such as not initializing). The wiki page says it can only be compiled with the relax patch version : http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot-mega/wiki/Code

Notice that the 0.22 arduino relax patch is no longer in the download area, but can be found in the history : http://wiki.ardupilot-mega.googlecode.com/git-history/2f5085e61fee3...

(the 1.00 relax patch will not work as APM is not compatible with this version)

  • Hi, when I did the update  from 2.24 to 2.26 I had similar issues. I was instructed to return to 2.24 and erase all logs before to update to 2.26 again. It worked for me. I didn' tried the new 2.27 code yet.
