Auto Mission issue

Hi there.

I ran an auto mission last night which took my copter out of radio range which i knew it would. The throttle failsafe worked as expected as the mission continued.

On the way back from the furthest waypoint the copter seemed to stop hesitate and then eventually flew home ok.

When i looked at the logs i do see spikes in HDOP and the number of sats but i also noticed the log contains extra "Auto" tags in the log but i only set Auto once.

So my questions are these (FW is 3.0.1)...

1. Looking at the image should i expect issues where the HDOP changes ?

2. Why the extra "Auto" tags in the log ?

thanks for any advice.3691063090?profile=original

  • The HDOP (Horizontal Dilution Of Position) is a measure of the horizontal accuracy of the GPS. The smaller a HDOP is, the more accurate the reported position is. You will notice it changing throughout a mission as different satellites come into and out of view.

The numbers you have are quite normal and should not affect the flight.

In terms of the AUTO tags, I believe that's just an artifact of how Mission Planner reads the logs.
