Hello, I'm not great at reading logs so I was wondering if someone can help me out. I just finished 1-axis Rate/P-I-D tuning and decided to do a test flight. It was flying well in stabilize mode. Then I switched to Acro mode, then back to stabilize mode a few seconds later. Next thing, the quad just falls from the sky. It looked like a motor may have cut off but I'm not sure. This sucks really bad and I really want to find out what happened so I can fix/prevent it in the future :/ Log is attached

  • Ok, after hours of research I've concluded it was the compass settings. There is a bug that cuts the motors when switching from Acro to Stab mode if the APM things the quad is upside down. My compass settings were at ROTATION_NONE. I rebuilt the quad, did another PID tune, compass calibration, accel calibration, and compassmot all outside (I've always done it inside). Flew it beautifully!

  • Could it have been due to a GPS glitch? I had it disabled
