Hi guys,I upload the AC 3.2 Arducopter heli firmware today.But the sonar parameters RNGFND_PIN RNGFND_MAX_CM RNGFND_SCALING RNGFND_TYPE can't be founded in parameter list.And the sonar can't be enabled.

Hi William - were you able to resolve this? I am on 3.1.5 and latest MP and Sonar option was disabled / could not be checked. I reinstalled MP 1.3.1 and while the checkbox came back along with the option list, the sonarrange and sonarvoltage in flightdate->status shows 0. The Sonar is working though - can hear clicks and sonar test via CLI shows the distances near correctly.
Worse, the RNGFND_ parameters are not showing up ( MP latest or MP 1.3.1 ) - Please see my post on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rba1ZdL0vyE
Some confusion around whether AC 3.2.1 supports Sonar or not. But I upgraded to 3.2.1 and the RNGFND_ parameters appeared. The sonar can only be enabled via these parameters - select the right PIN and Enable = 1 and not from Optional Hardware->Sonar panel. I am getting the sonarrange and sonarvoltage in status. Will be switching to narrow beam Maxbotix XL ( currently using LV-EZ0 and this does not good range or accuracy ). Probably should have invested in a LIDAR-Lite.
Reboot of APM is required.
I later on upgraded MP to 1.3.34 as well.

Yes I did see the link you have mentioned. But I also read elsewhere with folks claiming that support for sonar has been taken out from 3.2.
I was on MP 1.3.34 + AC 3.1.5 but downgraded to see if it will bring back the RNGFND params ( since Sonar checkbox was disabled in optional hardware Sonar panel.
Now all good.
