I nearly crashed my Discovery style quad a few days ago on a gusty day (about 15-20mph winds). Near the end of the flight at about the last 30 seconds, as I tried to back the quad up in stabilize, I had the control pitch maxed out to fly backwards and it would not respond. The quad kept slowly moving forward.
I'm not real sure how to recognize the problem on the logs but I'm wondering if it was caused by the wide front arms not producing enough thrust in gusts to fly backwards or if it was a mechanical issue. I still had plenty of voltage when I landed.
Thanks!
