Hi,
What's your feeling about this one :
Canon IXUS 155, 20 M pixels, 142 grams, no CHDK yet, but "Continuous Shooting Approx. 0.8 shots/sec. (until memory card becomes full)"
For a fine 20M picture, 7 Mb, that is more than 2000 pix in a 16G memory card. Largely covering a 30 min flight.
Do we really need interface with flight controler or CHDK scripting ?
In addition, it will probably be CHDK enabled within weeks anyway.

Hi Pascal,
Just wondering how far you went with this. I'm currently looking for a good camera for mapping and wondering how well this will work without the CHDK and what kind results people have been getting, Let me know if you opted to pick it up for a spin, I eager to know how well it works
Hi Georges,
I did not take this one. I took a Sony RX100 II just last week. I am still waiting for trigger cable, and so far no flight test.
Hopefully the Sony will work just right for you, any tips on the Ixus, is there any reason you avoided it. Another thing cox I also have a Sony(HX50v), how are you working out the triggering and time lapse/continuous shooting without CHDK, wouldn't mind some tips on getting the Sony airborne..
I took Sony mainly for sensor size, giving better pictures. I ordered a cable to trigger. And still wait for it.
