Droidplanner on Verizon Ellipsis 7 Tablet - 3dr radio connection problem

Has anyone been successful with this tablet? It does not seem to recognize the 3dr radio when connected via OTG to USB port. Any suggestions greatly apprciated.

I had a Acer tablet that does not work with the usb. I built a blue tooth connection for my tablet.

  Thanks Dave - I have been thinking about how to try rigging bluetooth. Any pointers on how you accomplished this? I have a usb bluetooth dongle. Is there a way to use this with the 3dr radio to provide the link to the tablet's built in bluetooth ?

    I picked up these three items on ebay and put them in a small project box. It cost me about 33 bucks for the parts and case.
