I know allot of people use this frame.Mostly because you can get a knockoff for about $20-25 so you can afford to buy an extra for spare parts. My setup is:

APM 2.5

Vibration Isolated by one of those nice 3D printed units

4 2812 1000 kv motors

4 20 amp ESC's w/ simonk

4000mah 3s battery

frsky radio

3dr telemetry

Some basic landing legs (plastic)

I know allot of people use this frame with their APM, So I made a title that would come up in most searches for people with this setup.

What I want to do is have a Repository (if you will) of people's setups with this frame, and Config files that they (you) are using with this setup. That way when starting, we don't all have to start from scratch. Plus people will have some tips and tricks to help them with this frame IF they decide to get.

Myself I would really like a config file to help me out getting started with this platform.

I hope this ends up helping both myself and others with this frame, or who are thinking of using it.

  • Here is a picture of the Vibration isolating mount platform I got from Shapeways. The first one was made and 3d printed by one of our members, but it required some bushings from hobby king and they were always out of stock, plus you had to pay for shipping from Honk Kong which was 15 times what the bushings cost. I cant remember where I got mine from but It came with the bushings, which was very nice. Anyways heres a link to the site. You can download the STL file and print it yourself if you have a printer. (you can get the XYZ from amazon for $500!)

Here is a pic of mine, It's nice because its a little oversized so it will fit sidemount APM's and top mount.
