Fail safe problems PWM goes up instead of down

Hi

I am trying to set up the failsafe in adrucopter .

I am using a APM2.5 running 3.1 software .

My radio is a 9XR with opentx software and an Open  LRS module.

I have gone through the instructions and try as I might I cant get it to work  .When I turn off the TX

The throttle range goes up to 1610 instead of dropping to 986 .

I did have the TX RX working correctly on my bixler with another APM2.5

Hope someone can point me in the wright direction.

  • You need to set the failsafe in your RC receiver to have a low PWM value.  You would normally do that by commanding such a value (with 9XR, I recommend a "replace" rule based on a switch) then set the failsafe on the receiver with the TX in that state.

      It would be great if you could clarify what Darren asked. I suppose lots of newbies like me would have a similar question.
