First build, input welcome.

I am new to multi-rotors but not to RC, I Own a photography business and wanted  to get into flyover shots. SO what im building is totally of my own design. I started out with 2 aluminum plates for the central hub. 4 CF booms holding 2 340kv motors each in an X8 configuration. im running into some snags though,

1. Power distribution board, I'm looking to run (8)  60A esc's and I cant find a PDB that can handle over 240A Max. draw on my motors is 40A making total max. draw 320A, you see my dilemma, any input on this would be helpful.

2. Landing skids, where do you find skids or skid components for a rig this large? i cant find anything but flimsy stuff for MUCH smaller quads. I REALLY need some input here

THEN ordering the remainder of the FPV equipment! I already have a pilot show asking me to do their aerial shots! I HOPE this thing flies well!

    • i had my first hiccup.....HOPEFULLY it did no damage other than the plugs.....after i got the whole thing together it seems i had the plug soldered on backwards for the battery hookup, big arc, but i hooked another battery up with a good plug and i can hear the esc's and the light for the receiver blinks waiting for a bind. so im praying once i make the repairs to the plugs all will be ok.

  • Heavy duty literally, ill be watching this space, cant wait to see it fly

    • I cant wait either. there will be an audience and video for sure. If it flies perfectly = 500 likes.....crash and burn = 1 million likes
