I am trying to setup a Bixler with APM2 but I can't figure out how to assign a specific channel from my TX to force opening flap, is it possible ?

I have my flap servos connected directly to the RC receiver. So the APM is not involved in operating the flaps at all.
What TX are you using?
How many channels do you have on your RX?
