I have a 2 axis brushless gimbal controller that i wast to use on a gimbal setup to control and stabilise Yaw and Pitch instead of Pitch and Roll. Any ideas how to do that? Also is there any controll board that translates the RX input to Brushless Gimbal motor without the stabilization? If i disconnect the gyro board from my controller than the RC override stops working.

Basically I dont care too much about stabilization but i want to control the brushles motors of the gimbal with RX. I can connect RX to override the stabilization but if the axises are not PItch and Roll than the stabilization is useless, and the control board doesnt initialize without the gyro board connected. I cant find any boards that i could use instead of the gimbal stabilizer board.
Idea 1. - to hack the gyro board to not stabilize but initialize
Idea 2. - firmware hack to disable Roll (and use it for Yaw) but keep Pitch

Idea 3. - another board, maybe arduino
Any ideas?
