Nothing against Bearospace Industries, but I am trying to figure out if I should buy the kit or not and modify where I see fit as they say on the website.
So I used Ecalc and it gives an error for max motor due to current being too high and 10 minutes of mixed flight.
So how does Spike get 3hours of zero payload flight? What am I missing? Is it an error in Ecalc?
It is confusing please advise.

not sure about your E-calc, or how it interprets the data. I get flight time Data from real world testing. actually flying the aircraft until the battery is low, and it is time for re-charge.
The flight time was less with lipo batteries, but with the latest generation of lithium ion batteries, it is 4+ hrs.
Thanks for the interest, and i can assure you, i have flown over 4 hrs with an unmodified v-2 aircraft.
i believe more is possible, because the aircraft was several pounds below gross weight at the time of the test. it is a configuration that is for utility, and carrying a payload. also flew to 13000 ft and over 2 hrs flight time on another flight.
Best, and let me know if anybody has any further questions. fpvreviews@gmail.com gets me direct.
cheers!
Did you end up purchasing the Gemini?
I wish I could take all the laser cut parts, and replicate them in CF plates...
Seems like a time-intensive build.
