Hi, I'm very new this and need some help getting my AIOP board to recognize my GPS module. There doesn't seem to be much info around, or at least I can't find it if there is so thought I'd seek help here.
I have a Quad X configuration and had previously used the board with the MultiWii code. Everything seems to work fine port and sensor wise.
Downloaded the Arducopter 2.7 version aready tested and configured for the AIOP. Worked out how to compile then load it to the board but am stumped trying to get the GPS to work.
Connection wise I have the GPS TX/RX cross connected to the AIOP RX2/TX2 ports.
I initially set the GPS baud rate to 115200
Flashed the board with Arducopter 2.7, adjusted the GPS baud rate setting in config to match 115200.
Nothing seems to happen, the mission planner says no GPS found and there is nothing showing in the hardware tab for a GPS module.
Saw somewhere on this forum that the baud rate should be 38400 so adjusted config and reloaded 2.7 and reconfigured GPS for 38400, still no luck.
Any suggestions, advice or pointers to existing threads would be appreciated?
