would like to know what is the best to have, a hexacopter or a y6. need to know in terms of lift (payload) ie how much weight it can carry and efficiency on the battery packs. also which is the easiest to fly? and which is the one that with stands most strong winds

With all else being equal, a hexa should have more lift and also be the most stable one. The reason is that with a Y6 the bottom propellers has to work in the down wash of the upper ones, reducing efficiency. And you get better stability because when you think about it, having six separate points of stabilization around a circle, is obviously better then three points.
