hexacopter setup/parts! What do you think?

Hello!

I'm a new member on this forum. I'm 20 years old and live in Sweden
I have 3 years experience with rc planes and and just over one year with a quadcopter.

My next project is to build a hexacopter to be able to film the campsite of my parents from the air! and later I would like to start with fpv!

So my question for the multicopter pilots on this forum is, What do you think of my setup? Are there things I need to adjust or is it juist fine?

These are the parts that I think to use:

carbonfiber prop 13x5.5:

Tarot gibal:http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...ontroller.html

I will usa a gopro hero 3 black edition +

Of course I also buy a lot of extra wire and heat shrink!

All together makes the hexa about 2995grams

On the first pictures you can see the ecalc.ch calculations and on the other one the parts en wights!

What do you think of my parts?
If you know something how I can make this hexacopter better, let me hear it!

thanks already!

  • That's a really big, power hungry setup for carrying around a go pro. Even with two 3S 5AH, you're only getting an estimated 5 minutes of mixed flight time.
