Sup yall,  I got in my repair parts from the last crash and apparently only hand tightened the prop spinner nuts... Well I learned my mistake towards the end of a 10 minute flight.  My quad kept loosing altitude..  (as the motors were slipping in the propellers) then one came off 10 ft up and my quad hit the house as it was starting to flip.

So lessons learned, I am through with the pretty looking spinner nuts and replaced them with proper lock nuts.

Now waiting for a $15 motor to replace the one with a spun bearing and a bent shaft....

Oh and if anyone has any experience in replacing the bearings on.  A NTP propdrive 28-26  1350kv I have a couple shafts en route from china along with a replacement motor.  So I am going to take the time to attempt to repair the motor to keep in reserve...

  • I got my motor shafts in,  the one was slightly bent and I did have a bearing that felt kind of gritty.  Breaking out a Micrometer I was able to measure it as 3x7x3mm   3mm shaft hole with a 7mm Outer diameter of the bearing races and 3mm tall.  Using an allen key I was able to gently drive out the bad bearing from the Stator. Now I am just waiting for a the bearings to arrive.
