I'm designing my own quad and wonder if there is a rule of thumb for how far apart the the blades should be for a quad?
Let me guess, the minimum distance should be to avoid the props from colliding. :-)

How to calculate m2m distance?
I've heard you want the distance of your props between the prop tips. So, if your props are 10", motor to motor should be 20".
