I was looking for a controller board for a large octo I'm building and figured I'd go with a DJI WKM-M or a ZeroUAV YS-X6 but after looking at there flight planning software my jaw dropped!!!
Both companies flight planning software is just a steaming pile compared to the über-elegant APM mission planner. I went ahead and ordered a PX4 from Canada Drones and feel much better.
Not sure if I did the right thing but there is tons of support for the APM gear and I'm sure I can get my upcoming project sorted.
Already was able to fully automate photo taking at preset altitudes just need to get precise angled rotation working now. Angle in waypoint doesn't work nor does condition-yaw. But I'm sure with a bit of work it'll be sorted.

arducopter is very very good and accurate since 3.0,1 software.
all developer have made incredible thing with the code.
i have dji naza and apm 2.5 and i can say you that ardu is good than dji and better for some features.(my naza is better with wind in gps mode..i think smt32 should help it)
the only one thing i dislike with apm is that arduino hardware for the moment and i hope to see a new apm with smt32 from diydrone rapidly.
i am pretty sure, arducopter will destroyed all closed source like dji or zerouav in less one year.
as soon as the hardware will be better,i will not see a reason to buy dji or something else......
