Hi guys,
Just a question about the LIDAR from Pulsedlight3d - I got mine today, but the best rig for testing it is an APM, not a pixhawk. The LIDAR is i2C.
Can I run the I2C board (https://store.3drobotics.com/products/pixhawk-i2c-splitter) from the APM's i2C port, plug the LiDAR into that? Or is it Pixhawk only? I'd like to retain the external compass while running the LIDAR, obviously.

Can anyone advise if the early build pulsedlight lidars work on I2C with APM 2.6?
first of all this is NOT a lidar, but a distance sensor. Even spinning it one one axis, you are still a lot far away from proper LIDAR.
BUT
i also looked at that sensor, and i'm thinking about buing it.
i2c is i2c and is a standard, you can easyly find Arduino library for that sensor, and they are easy to understand how the sensor "talk", but the truth is you will make a much more better work looking at yhe official documentatio http://pulsedlight3d.com/pages/docs
