May i know the minimum wing span limit of mav in which the AP can be applied? hmmm... im trying for a flapping wing model...suggest me your ideas for controlling it...

you might be able to get away with using a dragonfly rc toy and outfitting it with a arduimu+ to save on weight beacuse you would have only 1 board, but i agree with paul, if you are not an expert, a flapping wing aircraft is probably not for you, try a regular rc plane instead, I hope this helps
There is no simple way to answer your question. A flapping wing aircraft, or Ornithopter, is a reasonably difficult aircraft to build before even thinking of an autopilot. Best to stick with a fixed wing airframe. As for size, you are really limited by the weight of the autopilot and radio gear. ArdupilotMega with IMU shield, GPS and Receiver cables, will weigh around 90-100grams, this is quiet a large payload for a MAV and does not include weight of Motor, Battery, servos, etc.. A 30-35cm delta wing style airframe similar to a SkyFun would probably be able to carry it without too much of an issue. Smaller sizes may be possible but wing loading will start getting high and slow speed flight will suffer
