Motor stops at midair

Hello guys,

Device conf;

Hexa
APM2.5
Rctimer 360 kv motor
hobbyking blue series ESC 20 amp
Zippy flightmax 8000 mah 4 S batarya
Carbonfiber 15" props
Turnigy 9x radio

When i was flying, in the midair motor stops for a moment. When i analyzing the logs i saw the throttle in and out values are 0 for a moment. Does it mean that radio controller failed for a moment ??? Could you help me to solve this.

Best regards.

  • Hello again,

         Throughout the research, one of the guy said that original turnigy 9x software may cause this kind of problems. He recommends to change the software with er9x. Do you have any info about that ?

  • THank you for your interest

    Firstly Gerard;

    - Altitude was about 10-12 meters

    - I dont have video tx eq.

    - Module is the original one come with the radio so Turnigy 9x

    - I add the pic you ask and the log file :

  • Better yet, post the Dataflash log file.

  • Some more info is necessary. Let's start with the folliowing:

    - what was the distance when the failure occurred, what was altitude?

    - do you have video tx equipment on board and if so, what freq?

    - what rx/tx module do you use for the radio 9x?

    - Can you expand the graph above?  It's unclear what the commanded throttle is vs. out throttle (thr. in vs thr. out), as the lines overlap. If the trh.in shows the same line, it's probably a radio glitch. If the Thr.In does not drop, it's some other issue.
