Hello guys,

I was just looking around when I found out that my Hexa I fly is not as good as I would have hoped for.

I use 6x Jdrones 20A ESC

6x Robbe Roxxy 2827-34 760kv 110W 10A

I fly 4S. and 10"x4.7    (new 11"x4.5 EPP)

This means 14,8V * 10A = 148W. This is too much, some guy just told me.

So, I need other motors. But I am afraid I need 6xESC, too. And I am a student which makes this expensive, too.

Who can help me find 6 new motors with enough torque and long flight time that will use 4S and 11"x4.5 EPP or APC.

like these:

Motor1

Motor2

Regards

Kai

  • You need to tell us more. Weight of model in particular. But if (for instance), this is about 2.2Kg, reducing your props to 9*5, or 10*3.7, would bring everything inside reasonable limits.

Try some experiments with ecalc, feeding in your current motors, battery, and esc's, and see what gives acceptable figures.

Your problem is your props are large for your motors, 4s, and your ESC's.....

If you can accept smaller props you get a cheap solution. :)

    Best Wishes
