No Mav Data...tried everthing

I am at my wits end with my APM2.6 board and Minim OSD.  No matter what I try all I see on my monitor is No Mav Data.

I have the latest, MP, loaded the latest APM:Plane firmware, the config wizard ran perfectly.  Everything works except my OSD.

The OSD is running the current stable release of MinimOSD Extra.  That all went perfectly too.

I have tried swapping the TX and RX wire, entering new SR3 (now SR1) parameters, clicking on enable telemetry in the OSD tab dosent seem to do anything, button seems disabled.

I know telem wont work with USB connected and I have tried all matter of connecting, disconnecting, powering up and restarting.  I still get NO MAV DATA.

I tried another known good OSD to no effect.

Any Ideas?

  • Same problem here with an APM Mini 3.1. Really getting sick of this....

Tried it all SR0 changes, etc....

Only option now is to revert firmware back from APM copter 3.2.1, and back to V2 Minim OSD firmware.

As for the hookup to both OSD, and Telemetry, here is my diagram I am putting out there for the mini APM's (RTF Quads)

  • I did resolve my issue. After 2 months of google'ing people started talking about a bug in the APM:Plane firmware that caused telemetry not to work. I when to an older rev of firmware for the APM and it worked.

In your case, do you have RX and TX connected to both devices? You need both at the 3DR Radio but only one, RX I think connected at the OSD. Connecting both at both causes problems. There are diagrams out there that explain this throughly.

    Hope this helps.

  • Ive got the same problem. I have noticed when osd is disconnected 3rd radio shows heartbeat activity. The instant I connect osd the heartbeats die. The same osd board can flashed with kvosd and it works with a naze32.
