I was using arducopter v3.1.2 and xplane 9 for the simulation. My problem is that there is no throttle signal when I move my transmitter throttle stick. The other sticks have got no problem as the mission planner is able to detect the signal as I move the other sticks. I can't take off as the throttle stick does not give me any response. the propellars in the xplane do not move when I move the throttle stick. Have anyone come across this problem? May I know how can I solve this problem?

  • Hi

I had a similar problem, but my throttle was acting like an on/off switch. The motors would spin, but with insufficient power for lift off. I was using Mission Planner 1.3.30 on my laptop through a USB3 port.

I tried several times to fix this without success. I then loaded Misssion Planner on an older computer which only has USB2 ports. After going through the set up procedure in Mission Planner, I now have full throttle control.

Just off out to to do my first crash test.

  • Good news!

I have just solved this problem! You must arm the motors us a real flight. First of all, we have to disable the Arming check option in config/setup->standar params. Then you can arm the motors clicking on arm/disarm in flight data->Actions or moving your throttle stick down-right and hold it some seconds. Enjoy your flight!

    Regards

  • Hi all!

I have the same problem. I think it is because throttle gains but I dont know exactly what to change.
