Hello ALL, I'm Paolo an absolute beginner on ardupilot platform.
Probably I've bought the wrong Items, In Italy I've bought:
ArduPilot - Controller UAV ATMega328 (Arduino)
http://www.robot-italy.com/product_info.php?cPath=15_138&products_id=1169
Ardupilot Sensor Board - Six Degrees of Freedom (Main)
http://www.robot-italy.com/product_info.php?cPath=15_138&products_id=1256
At the first I've understood that with this setup I'll be able to fly an uav, but now I've some doubts.
The Ardupilot Sensor Board - Six Degrees of Freedom (Main) is a 4DOF Imu board so it have a Gyroscope on X axis and 3 accelerometer.
Is this setup enough to have a working UAV or I've to buy additional accelerometer?
Do I need also an airspeed reference or the gps in enough?
I've searched on the forum but I'm not able to found a response
Thanks in advance
Paolo

Youve bought the old ArduPilot board (not ArdupilotMega) and an IMU I dont reckognise. Normalyy the old Ardupilot board is flown with an ArduIMU:

Which, like the old ArduPilot boards are getting difficult to get.
Ardupilot is no longer developed, but the code is still availble, and it still flies great (i still have an old Easystar and she flies great to this day).
I would suggest you either sourcean ArduIMU for use with you Ardupilot, or take the hit and buy a full ArduPilotMega kit:

APM is way ahead of the old AP. The old AP cant use the APM planner tool or anything remotely advanced. Uploading missions can be a pain also as it only has a single serial interface.
Good luck
