Sorry to say im a total newbie... I have everything hooked up and ready to connect it all to apm. This is my current connections (not connected a battery yet:p

3690998679?profile=originalWhat wheres the JP1?

On the output, how do i know if i should have the brown or yellow on top\bottom? Ans is this correct pinned?

On the input, how do i know where do put pins, theres only 6. Is it correct?

All in all, any cables\pins missing or need to be unpinned? This is all i have of cables and ping, will need to buy more in that case?

Where do i power the reciever?

  • Haha nice! Thanks for that!:)
  • One of my motors got the "pin" underneath it pushed in, does that do any damage or is that bad? Seems perfectly fine in functionality?

I believe JP1 is labeled on the APM case. It's located by the output pins next to where the power module plugs in. You may need to take the case apart to access it. The wiki page shows the location for APM 2.0 not 2.5.
  • Which APM are you using?

If 2.5 *and* the new power module, Thomas is correct.

If 2.0 *and* desired to power via ESC/BEC you need JP1.

If you are familiar with electrical schematics HERE is a power diagram for 2.5; HERE is 2.0.

JP1 location is shown for 2.5 on this THIS page.

    Good luck!

  • APM is powered with its own power module
