I downgraded my APM2 to 3.1.5 because alt hold, loiter etc would not work at all. The solution given here by many people was to downgrade. After downgrading I reset all the parameters and ran through the all the initial calibrations. However the compass calibration will not work. I do the live calibration and I get the pop up window at the end with the offsets but the compass is still not calibrated and fails pre-arm. I went to the message output and I see, FAILURE: Unsupported CMD: 242. What is going on? Help please! I am using APM Planner btw. Thanks in advance!

How many compass sensors do you have? what the ver of your apm board?
APM2.6, 1 external compass/gps module. I had no problem calibrating the compass when I was on 3.2.1 or 3.2. Now for some reason it is telling me unsupported command.
