Possible to reverse CW / CCW setup? How?

Hello!

I have an H-600 type quad, with a pixhawk board running Copter 3.4.1.

Is there a way to reverse the motor CW / CCW setup? I want the front right motor to run CW, front left CCW, etc.

I think my frame twists when motor 1 and 2 hold all its weight, causing a torque turning the whole thing left, even though motor 1+2 should turn it right - so this creates an unstable situation.

If I could reverse it, I could at least test if this is the cause of my yaw issues (before I look for a new frame).

Thanks!

  • That was not my issue...

ESC / Motor spin is easy to switch, I can do that with BLHeli suite. Or change wires. But normally the yaw control would freak out from that...

However, I found out it was configured with 'X' quad frame, and there's an 'H' quad frame option, which does exactly what I needed, swaps standard rotation setup to alternate mode.

  • not sure it would work [read fly] doing so but you could always just reverse 2 wires on each ESC which would reverse the direction of the motors. But you will also have to swap props as well.

  • It maybe simpler to turn the flight controller 90 degrees and fly it sideways.
