Powering a receiver with the Pixhawk

I think I'm almost done with my drone, but I have run into a problem.

So the Pixhawk doesn't supply power to the servo rail, but that is the only thing my receiver is connected to... I'm trying to research how to power the receiver without a separate battery, but I can't figure out how. Can somebody please help me? My receiver is the Turnigy 8ch 2.4Gz receiver.

  • Hi,

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I used a Nimh battery on the receiver and it turns out it's fried because of the charger I used to be using on the battery I had. I got a new battery and charger, so that isn't a problem anymore. I ordered a new 9x receiver, but the receiver and transmitter still don't want to bind! Do you have any suggestions on how to fix that? I have a feeling I might've gotten the wrong transmitter. Thanks in advance!

Connect a BEC that provides 5.0 ... 5.5v to the servo rail, then Pixhawk will use it for redundancy as well.
