Powering my pixhawk with the power module

Hi

i just got my pixhawk with a power module. Im thinking of using this, but the pixhawk already gets power from the esc. When i connect the power module, will the esc power turn off my it self?

I just dont want to give it too much here and blow something up....

    Cant see anything there about doing something before connecting the power module? Meaning ill just connect it and its fine?

      @Thomas,

      What is the output voltage of the ESC BEC? The Pixhawk does not do well on BEC outputs of over 5.5vdc.

      If you are using analog servos with the Pixhawk have you installed the recommended zener diode across the servo output power bus?

      As the Wiki indicates, when using a BEC on the Pixhawk servo output power bus along with the PM, the Pixhawk will use the BEC input as a secondary power supply. However voltage spikes on the BEC power line caused by servos can cause the Pixhawk to reset.
