I have done what the wiki says to interface the PulsedLight LIDAR.
Then I set the proper parameters like range type to 4 for the Pulsed Light unit.
I do a write and it LOOKS like it saves.
Has anyone used the Pulsed Light unit yet?
I also noted the parameters do not save to memory after write.
If I unplug and power back up the Pickhawk the parameters revert to defaults.
I do a compass and RC TX calibrate and they don't save either.
I have tried the LIDAR on an Arduino mini and it works fine. Distance in cm shows on terminal OK.

Ahhh.....
I found the problem I THINK.
Just for grins I tried an APM2 with the LIDAR.
IT WORKS!
So I guess the Pixhawk code does NOT support LIDAR yet.
