Hello
Couple of days ago i was flying with my quadcopter (3DR frame, but just 3cm longer and little bit thinner arms) on my local ski resort, temp was +3C, when it started to hang midair - see video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCFYXozxP1o
1:49 and 2:36 marks. I even didn't notice the first one when flying only when i saw the video afterwards.
Here is my setup -
rctimer/jdrones 2836-9 880kv motors + 12x45 props, rctimer/jdrones 30A ESC (flashed with simonk firmware), 5000mAh 30C 3S battery, apm1 atmega2560 (arducopter v2.5.3) with oilpan, gps, magnetometer, xbee 2.4ghz, turnigy 9x 2.4ghz radio with er9x software and frsky RX/TX. APM is powered by one of the motor's ESC.
I also attached the log file from that flight. Looks to me like for couple hundred of milliseconds it didn't receive any input from my radio and apm didn't output any throttle to motors also.
I don't use bullet connectors and have soldered esc and motor wires together.
Anyone got any idea where i might start looking for the problem?

I had a short in my wiring that would crop up during flight from time to time... it was a stray RC signal wire that shorted to the APM.
Check the wiring on your RC receiver. It looks like it cuts out completely twice. Green is altitude, red is throttle in and I circled the signal loss area in blue.
This sounds like a radio failsafe event. Your receiver may have lost radio contact for a moment, and it's default behavior is to lower the throttle to 0.
