Radio Calibration Values too Extreme

Hello -

First time setup here. I'm calibrating my radio in mission planner but the values I'm getting seem to be too extreme. Mission planner tells me normal values are around 1100 for minimums and 1900 for maximums, but I'm getting around 950 for my mins and around 2100 for maxs. Anyone know why, and how to solve?

Setup:

FrSky Taranis X9D (bought used on eBay)

APM 2.6

Let me know if I can provide more information that will help.

Thanks!

Sam

  • Hi Martin -

    Thanks!

I have not calibrated as you describe. Must've missed that step. That's something you do on the transmitter itself?

    • Hi Sam,

Just follow the wiki for the vehicle that your using, there are step by step instructions on the procedure that you need to follow to get going.

For example you need to load firmware before you do anything else, then you connect to mission planner and use the wizard to guide you through the set up steps including how to calibrate your RC.

  • Hi Sam, those values are fine, have you carried out an rc callibration, and set the max and min values for the channels that you are using in mission planner?
