Hi everyone, just need some input on the possibility of doing this. Bought, got, 4 brand new rctime 2814 motors. Has four holes for prop adapter. They are spaced too far apart for screw in prop adapter. Tried many already. The motors did come with collet type prop adapter, but that prop adapter calls for 8mm prop hole. What I would like to do is to thread the upper portion of the shaft with a 3mm die and simply mount the prop on the shaft(5mm) and use a 3mm locknut to hold it down. Will it work and will it be strong enough. Will probably run 10.47 or 11.47 props. Thanks Roman
P.s. would use 4mm thread if it would be enough.
