Throttle mush. TBS Disco, TBS 900kv, TBS ESC, APM 2.6

Had a stock DJI 450 with APM 2.6, a lil rocketship :)

Built a TBS Disco with TBS 900kv, and TBS ESC, 9x5 graupner props and the same APM 2.6.

Weight without Lipo 1050g.

Max AUW 1550g with 4s 5000 mah

Hovers at 70% throttle. No power to speak of. It is nice and stable, just mush :(

I did....

reset, re-calibrated everything in MP.

Used diff Tx, diff lipo's 3s and 4s.

MAX  draw 25amps at full throttle on the 4s.

Could someone point me to the cause of "no power" at full throttle.

This thing should have much more power :(

I 'm no expert at this, but it is my 6th multirotor build

(450 to 650 quads/hex, naza, naza lite and APM 2.6)

first one with this problem.

Thanks for your time :)

  • I would agree to calibrate your ESCs. I have 10in props on a Disco with 930kv motors and I hover at 40%
  • What happens with 10" props? Can your motors/ESCs handle that much load? Did you do an ESC calibration?
