UAV for small agricultural business

Hello everyone,

I am hoping to start a small business providing survey as well as vegetation index for farmers in my local area (central Queensland, Australia).

It would just be a one man operation to start with.

I was just after advice on what UAVs would be best for this (the cheaper the better) as well as any other bits of advice or idea anyone has on the matter.

Thanks

If you want to lift two cameras try a super sky surfer (big bixler)

If you have never flown anything , get a Bixler, Taranis radio, 2200mah batteries (3 or 4) and learn how to fly it. This will save you lots of heardaches when you buy your first RPAS.

  • Licencing for commercial use is pretty tough in Oz but assuming you've got that sorted even a Bixler would get you started. I'm currently setting up a Canon Sx230 so I'll keep in touch, have a look at http://conservationdrones.org/, heaps of great info there.
