What makes these displays interesting for us is that the content of the display stays visible even with power removed. You can write to the display, unplug it and attach it to you drone, balloon or plane and the message will stay available for months. The displays are also much lighter than LCD's or similar. They are paper thin, the three display on offer are all only 1mm thick. They are rugged and can be bent into a tube without breaking. It can be programed from an Adruino or using the on board micro.
