I am new to the ArduPilot, though have been flying RC for decades. My first few flights with the system were perfect, though I used only limited functionality such as RTL, Stabilize, or Auto and it seems to work fine.
This last weekend I took the plane to my normal RC field and the first few minutes of flight were fine, then the plane went lost link with no control from my transmitter. The plane stayed pretty close and was making turns around the field in somewhat random places. Eventually it slowly dropped and landed in some dirt with no damage.
Since I had no control I wanted to see what happened, though I am having a hard time seeing anything in TLOGS. It loads my waypoints and I can see them fine and I can play the log, but the picture shows the plane on the runway and not moving for the entire flight. Did I screw something up? Why wouldn't it show the plane in flight so I can determine where things went wrong and what happened?
I have attached the tlog.
Thanks,
James

Are you sure this is the good TLog?
When I run it, it says on HUD just ArmedFailSafe, then FailSafe (I run at 2x or 5x) and the single mode display is RTL at altitude 1 or 2 m, speed 0
