Hi,

I just configured my radio and APM 2.5 to throttle failsafe mode. When I put the power off from the radios the APM goes to CIRCLE mode, not in RTL mode. OK-> I understood that if I'm flying in STAB or MAN mode (not in any autonomous mode) the failsafe will first take 20" CIRCLE mode and then turn to RTL. And the same sequence (CIRCLE->RTL) should happen with GCS short/long failsafe too, right?

Questions:

How do I set the failsafe behaviour if I want the APM to engage RTL immedialtely if throttle failsafe occurs?

Is there a good page where these failsafe configuration possibilites are clearly and briefly described; where to change, how to check, what misssion planner configuration page the parameters are found etc...

The WIKI manual is a bit general and doesn't tell detailed information about the failsafe configurations.

And what are the proper actions after fail safe occurs, what will happpen when the radio connection is re-established. For example: The plane looses radio comms and the plane APM hits RTL, the plane turns back towards launch point...closer to the launch point the radio comms are re-established what actions does the APM take and what actions should the pilot take...???

New failsafe firmware is being worked on and should be available in the next release. At the moment Circle > RTL or just RTL is not configurable unless you delve into the code yourself
