I see that Anthony Sive was working on the wiki, and since I closed the other thread when I thought we weren't going to be updating the current wiki, I'm re-opening this one.
Getting started, should we remove the Setting up the CLI part from: http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/TradHeli_Configuration ?
It looks to be from an old version; are any of these commands still used?

I managed to go through the wiki and setup my APM last night, and have a couple of points that might be useful.
1. On the APM and your RC system page, it might be helpful to add a subheading "APM channel 8: Throttle", with a brief explanation of some recommended RC setup like using a switch for throttle on/off (max/min PWM). Currently there is some info scttered through that page, but it might be easier to have it all grouped together.
2. On the configuration page under radio calibration, it would be good to add a note reading "avoid reversing the collective pitch channel (RC_3) in mission planner, because it will ruin the way the arming system works. Reverse your servos in mission planner, or reverse the channel on your radio instead". I learned this the hard way, and spent 30mins trying to work out why APM wouldnt arm.
3. On the same page, under "capturing swashplate range" at the end of step 4, I would have found it useful to have a quick note "If you want to re-do this step, close the setup window and re-open it". That would have saved me some time lol
All-in-all the wiki page is awesome and so helpful!!
Wow the APM and your RC system page looks great. I'll work on one for those of use who like to let our ESC do the governor work still.
I just spent over an hour working on the wiki. I see other's have too. Particular thanks to whoever whipped up that graphic of APM2.5 Servo connections! I saw the old one there with APM1 and thought.... ugh, that's gotta go, but we need a new one! And boom there it was.
I pruned out a lot of old and irrelevant info that some of you new guys might have been afraid to do.
It still needs some work though. What will be best is to come up with a good step-by-step setup procedure that is easy to follow. It looks like the MP Setup pages are outdated and need to be updated for sure.
I notice that there is quite a bit of copy/paste of my forum comments into the wiki. It's great that we have something in there, but this stuff definitely needs to be cleaned up.
Yep, get rid of it. It's just confusing.
The only thing I use CLI for is setting logging modes.
