xbee 868 pro on mikrokopter - config ???

hello,

i have a mikrokopter with FC ME and latest software.i will used my XBEE-868-PRO module´s for connection between the MK and MK-TOOL....

i used following adapter on MK and pc:

i have connect the xbee following:

flight-ctrl Pin 1 - Pin 2 (DOUT)
flight-ctrl Pin 2 - 5V connection on board XBee adapters
flight-ctrl Pin7 - Pin 10 (GND)
flight-ctrl Pin 9 - Pin 3 (DIN)

the bd-rate i have on57600 on both modules.the other config ist by default.
but nothingworks !! in mk-tool terminal i see some crazy asci letters ! nothingelse.the leds on the adapterboards blinking crazy.

i have testet on 10-pin from navi board and from FCport.all the same issue.

wich settings must i use on MK and PC side ????

  • you need the tool X-CTU

    setup one as PANID=123, MY=1, DL=2, DH=0, Channel=C

    and the other as: PANID=123, MY=2, DL=1, DH=0, Channel=C

    then connect both modules to some PC start a terminal on each and try if you can see characters typed on one pc on the other.

    If that works, you can proceed and try to connect them to the FC or NC (no configuration necessary on the NC or FC)
  • you should test them standalone first (without the FC / NC).

    BTW: I have constructed an "mobile mk-tool" and I use it with similar adapters. (see picture)
