  • I think good glass is a must.  You want somthing that is as straight as you can possibly get.  This glass is the top of the printer scanner.  Really flat and level.  You need to have a good level bed. 

  • Also.  All the motors and smoothrod and bearings.  Except for the liner bearings all came out of a old All in one printer.  One of the big ones.  This whol thing cost about 250 dollars.

    Looks like there are some printed parts in the build. Is there already a 3D printer the wife doesn't know about? ;)

  • Is this a glass bed heated from underneath? Looks like a large build envelope!
