Place apm 2.5 on a plane

HelloWould this be a useable place to glue it on my plane? (If I could do it like this, I do not need to 'destroy' (cut in) my plane...My plane is a hk reaktor epp, a 80(?) cm '3d' plane of hobbyking.Wouldn't all the possible problems be solved by the callibration?See pictures attached...Great thanks in advance :)

I would suggest another plane because yours is absolutely not made for that. How would you intend to wire everything on such a small plane??

    • I know my plane isn't made for this purpose, but like to do different, the wiring wouldn't be that difficult.
I have flown a hk bonsai (60 cm! Wingspan) succesfully with the apm and gps.
It will as long as it has enough power.
I will post pictures over 1-2 weeks when it's ready (need new transmitter)
      Wish me luck!
      Great thanks :)

  • I would suggest using foam tape rather than glue. Less vibration and won't damage the model if you need to move it
    • Like this is ok?

    • Ok thanks, so a do not need to cut into my fusselage? Just tape it on the side of the plane, like shown in the picture?
