Hello, I'm busy developing a Helix flybarr TRex 500 with a motherboard APM 2.5
I loaded the Mission Planner 1250 software on my PC and the firmware V291b heli.
I have a Futaba radio and I T12FG driver mode 1 (throttle right). By following the tips I found on the 3D Robotics Wiki I set my radio on a helicopter H1 program (the simplest) and Mission planner I put H1 settings and Flybarr.
On my sender , my receiver and APM I put the following links
> Ch Tx RX APM in APM out
> 1 Ail (Left servo) Aileron Aileron Aileron
> 2 Elev(Back servo) Elevator Elevator Pitch
> 3 Gas Throttle Pitch Elevator
> 4 Rudder Rudder Rudder Rudder
> 5 Inter 3 pos Aux1 Aux1
> 6 Pitch ( Right servo) Pitch
> 7
> 8 Throttle ESC
> I commissioned the APM Mission Planner with map and I tried the radio I'm not able to get correct movement on the swach disk!
I also tried with a very simple control plane on my radio without more success!
Does anyone have the right idea, I think it is a programming problem on my radio!
Thank you in advance
Michel

First off you need to configure Mission Planner as CCPM not H1. The APM will do all of the CCPM mixing, not your Tx but you need to make sure its properly set-up.
Have a look at http://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/traditional-helicopter-configuration/
