Setting of extgyro

I installed apm2.5 to the trad-heli.

About tail-control I want to use avcs mode, but what do I set for apm?

I don't know how to use avcs mode,So I equip head-lock gyro outside.
But Tail-wagging dosen't fix at the minimum gyro gain.

I choose "servo with extgyro" in the Tail Type of Heli Setup.

If I have attached an external gyro, Would I have to change Stabilize Yaw or Rate Yaw setting?

T-rex450 clone, APM2.5, extGyro:cx-3x1000
